The Inaugural Evening

Coming soon.
Be among the first to join The Filmanalytic Salon.

Join our mailing list to be the first to hear about our opening title, guest speakers, and ticket release — before anything is announced publicly.

Each Evening Will Include

ONE FILM, ONE EXPLORATIVE DISCUSSION.

  1. 01

    A curated screening

Each filmic object, or a set of selected scenes from said film, will be chosen based on its intellectually stimulating content; and the current events.

  2. 02

    An interdisciplinary panel

Invited voices from different fields react to the same film — and will rarely agree wholeheartedly.

  3. 03

    Audience conversation

The room is part of the discussion, not seated behind it.

  4. 04

    Food and drinks

Wine on arrival, some hors d'œuvres, and an opportunity to network with local professionals.

  5. 05

    A beautiful venue

Rooms with character: private residences, studios, courtyards, small cultural spaces across the beautiful city of Boston.

  6. 06

    An intimate community

Deliberately small, so that the same faces begin to know one another.

Many Lenses, One Film

“A film is the only object I know that a psychoanalyst, a historian, and a composer can unite to celebrate that a film reflects human relationality.”

Each month we will invite voices from different disciplines, and ask them the same question: what did this film make you notice about Being?
